SO ASSEMBLED probably mean everything, since the jegs add does say springs good to .600 . But I am not 100% on that have to call Dart and talk to them about what Assembled acctually means

Was thinking of getting a set of the TSP 5.3 heads 2.5's this week. What CC's are those?

And realistically a good porter such as tea will probably only pick up about 18-20 cfm at peak. 60 cfm would put them at 370+ which is not achievable out of a casting of this nature IMO.

Even out of the box they look great but If u could add 15CFM from 200 to 600 while keeping the runner around 215 I'd think this head would rock.

It doesn't look like these flow any better than my ported 5.3L heads. I don't like the cast runners either since you can get some discrepancies with cast error. CNC gives a much more repeatable final product. The 225 head loses a lot of low end flow over the 205 also, and with flow numbers only going to .550 on the 205's seem like that is where air flow peaked. Just going by flow numbers I would rather get into a stock ported casting or other aftermarket company. I don't see picking up to 370 cfm on these heads either with aftermarket porting. They may turn out to be a good bang for the buck, but I will wait for some real world tests to form an opinion on them.

first off the difference from the 205-225 heads on the low lift flow it doesn't matter that much for power, but the shape and size of the port will.
The good thing about these castings is the material available in the right spots for porting. In that flyer that has the flow numbers you can see the better bowl shape to start with and then the extra material over the short side. You can get a hell of a good flowing 220cc port out of that 205cc casting without much issue.

I see no problem with tea getting ahold of them. And the short side runner does look like it has a ton of room left for porting.
Hell a mild cnc job could put these puppies flowing like crazy from .2-.4 and still peaking with the big guys heads all with a smaller runner.
