I bought Patriot heads and am pretty pleased with them and the performance delivered. IF I were to do it again it would be either TEA or AFR. Both are top notch and have ET's to back it up.

How much are they supposed to cost? Will the power gains be that much more significant?

Yes they should be much more significant with the whole new design ports. They price is not released yet. Look over in the ls2-7 section under ls7 head and intake and crow@sdpc is the one mentioning them. They might have to be used with the new ls7 intake, but that will be a sick combo. The intake is only 270 dollars.

The LS7 cylinder head is awesome, but it's wide valve spacing & large valves makes it only fit big bore setups

Checkout some of the recent posts & pics on the PRC heads. We've recently hired Freddie a S.A.M. graduate to do finishing & R&D for PRC. With new cutters & some changes to our port we now build the best 5.3l cylinder heads I've ever seen! Anyone in the area feel free to come by & check out what goes into a set of these heads! After 8 hours on the cnc machine the heads get another 4-5 hours of porting, finishing & tweaking! The average cylinder head gets put on the bench 3 or 4 times before it's meets all the flow requirements & can be shipped! How many head companies can say they are that comitted to head flow?

I have also been tossing around these choices and if we are talking "bang for the buck' are the AFR's worth twice the money of the PRC's. Just was shopping around and found these stage III Prc's for $1200 shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
On the AFR site the cnc 205's list for $2499 I know we could probably get them cheaper from a sponsor, but thats still a big difference and let me know if I'm missing something?

Those are Patriot Performance heads, not PRC heads.
