Is it time to raise the B.S. flag?
no matter how radical or big the heads may be, but then again I can wrong, thats why I ask.Edit: I was told that he went with the SLP heads and cam package. I am not 100% sure about this though. And the car is a LS1 Camaro SS, 02 I think.
edit: after i saw YOUR edit, I'm gonna call BS on that. I haven't seen great numbers from the SLP package, much less 485rwhp. He'd need something like a upper 230's - 240 duration cam with some good heads to make that.

But really, youd probably need a perfectly matched intake/exhaust/heads/cam setup with a lot of luck. Or you could probably do a solid roller cam and hit that mark pretty easily.

big time. I actually raced him, and to make a long story short, I beat him, yet he claims "clutch problems". my ***.
BTW the only way he could make that much power with his set up is to be a full bolt on car + the tornado intake system

No, its not possible IMO, unless you go with a ridiculously huge solid roller cam and everything that goes with it.
I'm assuming thats a 5.7L motor? If its a 6.0L then its possible.
Just ask him the specs on his cam we can tell you the rest.

At 15% that would mean that it would have to make 415RWHP
If i remember right the specs on that cam are 218/220 112lsa. (I have not seen the specs in a long time so dont hold me to those specs.) But with all bolt on it could make it there in a 6 speed, 3.42 gears, AL drive shaft, and some light weight wheels.
