it sounds nice and nasty, but the hotcams normally do for some reason. Post up what times you run on it when you can!

Well I have actually ran it but Im witholding the time and speed because my car will not hook. Its been lowered and I need relocation brackets. Im running M/T's and it just blows them away. My brackets and sfc's are supposed to be here Friday and I may run it again Saturday with an open y pipe. By Sturday night I should have mew times if the 10 bolt holds together long enough.

Post up your times man. I'm running a bolt-on/hotcam car too. I ran a pathetic 8.7 @ 85 mph. But I had a 2.3 60' and spun through second and through the traps. I'm hoping for MUCH better times when I get to track that has some traction, no just off the line but down the whole lane.

And the hotcam does sound amazing, I have duals through Borla Pros and it sounds great.

OK, OK!

I didnt want to post my time but it wont hurt. Car ran 8.04@89mph with 1.9 60'.

One example. I run a 8.08 with a 1.98 60'. This is a 6 speed with 4.10 gears and mickey thompson et street radials. The tires are good. The track was not, but most of my problem I think is because my car has been lowered and I need the relocation brackets. They will be here tomorrow. I sure hope that helps because there is no reason I should not easily get low 1.7 60'.

I feel the car is gonna run no worse than 7.8 and maybe 7.7's in this weather.

You were embarrassed about those times? Geeze, make me feel like crap why don't you. But it does give me good hope for my hotcam car. I'm full bolt-ons and was about to trash the hotcam because of its track performance.

Good news is my tuner informed me that my banging exhaust pipe is almost certainly pulling alot of timing b/c of false knock. I had that fixed this week and will be going back to the track tomorrow, this track should be WORLD's over the other in the traction department.
