Yeah I believe you must have missed a few threads.. Do a search.. You will see what I'm saying.. I think I remember a post just a few weeks ago about some MTI heads that weren't cutting it.. And I know of a few threads about TEA heads as well. Yeah it isn't as common as the PP, PRC, FFHP, APE, etc's but it still happens.. I know these companies aren't the size of AFR, but if you are gonna do it then do it RIGHT!!

Its getting close
I think The proof is on the track .
I would like AFR TO let me prove that ET performance heads can't compete
Lets take a standard CNC HEAD FROM ETP 225 and an AFR 225 to the track.
This Dyno stuff Doesn't isn't worth its weight in Aluminum.

and unless were talking about the same car, same driver, same tuner, same installer, same track, same DA, ect. then your point is moot.

AFR 205's & a matched mild Comp cam here. Absolutely love it in my street car. As long as I'm running on an LS1, this will be the head for me. Someday, I'll buy the Chevy 502. When I do, will begin my head search w/ AFR.

THE MULE
I guess the DA could be somewhat a factor

I was feeling it man, crossed fingers and all for that one. Damn it. I am settling for ETP 225's, I believe they'll perform AT LEAST as good if not far superior to the AFR's, retain the thick deck advantage, AND add in the 11* valve advantage = A cut above the best, just MHO.
