Compression Test

Compression Test Does anyone know where to buy a compression test kit that will work on an LS1? I tried the autozone one which is basically the same as the ones from kragen and NAPA and it wouldn't work. At least with the motor in the car. What have you guys used to check your compression? What about a fuel pressure test kit? There are no fuel pressure testers at any of the auto parts stores that fit an LS1.

I'm not calculating compression for a head and cam swap. My car isn't running now and I'm trying to rule out a few things.

Snap On makes a compression testing kit that has a metric plug fitting that works on F Bodies. Take the plug out and screw the fitting and gauge in, disconnect the coil packs and pull the fuel pump fuse then motor the engine over(4 or 5 crank rotations) with the key until the pressure on the gauge reaches it highest point and take your readings, continue with the rest of the cylinders.
