I disagree, this depends on your lobe seperation. Ls1 to Ls6 cam and I lost tq but made a great gain on hp up top. Now I have a F13 in a C5 and with headers she put down 395/377.

Did he install an LS1/LS6 cam or an F12 that is almost identical to your F13? You have only 2 more degrees of exhaust duration and made 44 more RWHP and 53 more RWTQ.

There would be no reason for my car to lose torque like that. Car runs fine and no abnormal problems with the car. Only things that would do that was if there was a different cam installed which still wouldn't make since for the hp gain that i got. Only other reason would be the dyno itself with the 3400 converter that the rpm range on the dyno was above the rated stall speed and torque multiplication if its true that it would have less torque multiplication after the 3400 stall speed was lower because of that.

Anyone know if that makes sense for the low torque reading?????

Again for the 351rwhp is fine for me as it was at 307 to begin with. I accuse the converter for that low number.

was the verter locked or unlocked?? Sean should've been able to tune it for that converter, but who knows.... theres has to be something else wrong becasue of your graph. your cam is peaking too early for one and then just drops off. the 307 was with all the boltons right? did you have the same verter?

351 is a little low, but yeah the converter was unlocked and all dynoes are different. As long as the power is technically there then its all good. Go to the track and then make up your mind on what to think about the cam.

307 was with all the mods in my sig before the cam install. Same converter and as been unlocked for all of my dyno runs.

ok, stock you should be putting down at least 300 to the wheels. with a lid, bgram air, exhaust and the cutout, you should be at about 330-340. the cam should've gotten you to roughly 370-385 with the tune. given the verter would rob you of some hp, but that much?? i hope someone else cam chime in on what they think the problem is, but your converter has a big part in your low numbers from what i can tell.

Temper temper buddy, i was jsut stating I didnt agree with your statment that you should never lose tq and showing an example where it is proven to happen.

But the LS1/LS6 cam argument is irrelevant in this situation. I said it should NEVER go down because if you are installing a F12 in replacement of an LS1, the peak torque should NEVER go down.
