F12 cam installed!
Had the F12 installed yesterday along with getting the car tuned. Had a good time and drooled over some of the cars that were up there at Fastech.
We did a baseline pull and got 307rwhp and 337rwtq. After a couple of problems with a rocker bolt they had it in. First startup was just sweet! I love the car 10 fold over what i did before the cam.
Anyways after cam and tuning was done ran it on the dyno again and put out 351rwhp and 324rwtq. Kinda confused as why i lost torque but gained a shitload of horsepower. Last dyno before cam was 310rwhp and 343rwtq. Thought i was gonna gain torque along with horsepower on the cam but it didn't happen. I was surprised on the gain as i wasn't expecting that much. Car runs damn strong and pulls hard! Again i absolutely love it and the sound is ****** great!!! Also was told that a bigger throttle body would help out from him explaining the MAP sensor readings. Should have went with a bigger cam as the car drives great. Maybe just a tad tweak on the tune but it drives very well
I'll post up the graphs in the next day or two as i'm not at home to transfer the pics from my digital cam onto a PC.

I was gonna say something but I figured I'd let other people say it first so it didn't seem like I'm being negative, but:
If that was my car, I wouldn't be disappointed, I'd be down-right pissed off at those numbers. I know bolt-on cars that have more than those numbers.

Well my baseline was 307rwhp 337rwtq. When it was dyno'd after my long tube install it was 310hp 343tq and that was at RPMotorsports. Cam added 43rwhp but lost 13rwtq. Not sure why though. I gained some on the high end though. The car feels much stronger throughout the whole rpm range. Nothing abnormal from what i can tell.
Also another guy had a trex and was up there for a tune. His numbers if i remember were around 390rwhp 370rwtq. That is low for a trex with all boltons in an M6 car.

Now I cant tell what teh RPMS were cause theyre not labelled, but torque peak seems real early to me. However your air/fuel looks pretty good. 307 HP is real low for a car with boltons too. That TRex car was quite low as well. I would go find a new shop to dyno at. Something may be miscalibrated with their dyno.

I'm guessing that your converter was unlocked, and that its not very efficient. But as long as you are happy with the way it drives and the Seat Of aThe Pant gaing you got, hell I wouldnt worry bout dyno numbers. Its a WS6 not a supra. Have fun with it, stalled and cammed cars are the shizzie

Again my baseline was low and wasn't expecting 360-370rwhp out of this cam. Car pulls much harder then it did before. Maybe with a more effecient converter or with it locked i would see those kind of numbers.
That dyno sheet was at Fastech.
And for the 307rwhp number i account for the converter. All runs that i have done were with it unlocked. Earlier numbers were 290 - 316 with lid, cutout and converter.
Long tubes netted me 20hp and 27tq untuned and after adding this cam gained 43hp; lost torque on the low side but gained on the high side.

It doesn't make sense that you lost peak torque, though, and that's what people are saying. It's very common to lose torque in the lower RPMs but peak torque should NEVER go down.

"I cant say for sure, but I would be willing to bet it has to do with the converter. Maybe when you dynoed at RPM they started recording earlier and that was why it showed more torque. Since your above dyno has mph on the x-axis insted or rpms, I find it a little more difficult to discern where in the engine's rpms everything is happening. Your dyno should be from about 3500 to about 6200 rpms, assuming stock 3.23 gears. If I rememebr correctly torque multiplication decreases after the advertised stall speed, so if they dynoed at 3000 up you might show more torque."

Dyno's are tools, both of your before and after numbers are about 30 to 40 low.
Go drive the car and see how it runs, with that came it should run alot stonger then before and pull to about 6800rpm

But hey, like everybody says, if you feel the power, and are happy with it, who cares about numbers... There's plenty of cars with less power than me running quicker
