The TSP231/237 love the jug. They play friendly together.

no.

There are a million cams out there man. You want something that has a tad bit wider lsa and something with a little larger exhaust side. the 231/237 is definately a nice cam though. But just search on here, you will find out about another million choices.

so do you think the magic stick would be a good choice though? I plan on getting a set of stage 3 ls6 heads soon. what i really want to do is get a 408 with the texas giant cam but that's gonna happen just yet.

well you said your car was bone stock and with the stock CR and everything else being stock any higher duration cam would make your car lose low end power and torque, and since your tuning and valves are stock its senseless to run any higher rpms. with this cam you might even get away without a custom tune. if you were not using nitroud i would even say you should go with 212-216-114, but with a 150shot of nitrous i strongly recommend a timing tuner where you can pull back spark advance. about 7deg of retard should be safe.

hope this helps

Any cam.

Use the one that has the street manners you want off the bottle. I don't recall ever reading someone saying their cam didn't work with nitrous. You will see +150 with a 150 shot with any cam.

I have used 232/236 112
232/236 111
224/230 114
stock

Agree-- as if no one ever ran in the 9's with a 240 duration cam on the bottle

Exactly. For a 150 shot, pick your cam for NA performance. For a small shot like that, just about any cam will be ok.
