Default Patriots with F14

Is this a good combo...Patriot LS6 Stage II with the new Futral F14? I was thinking about getting the T-Rex for a long time and am still deciding over that or the F14. I have heard a lot of problems with the T-Rex like piston to valve clearance, bad idling, continuous tuning, etc. What about the F13 with the patriots?

I have asked a few people if the F14 would have clearance issues with the Stage II's, no one can see to give me a straight answer. Some say the Patriots have bad piston to valve clearance. But now others have told me that the Stage II's are ok up to .610 of lift. I can't seem to get a straight answer....from anyone. I hate asking a sponsor because they seem to just try to sell what they carry

i think any cam that will clear stock heads would have a problem with ls6 patriot stg2's b/c those heads arent milled...

Yea bud, I'm running Patriot Stage II heads with a TR224 cam and was wanting to get a bigger cam like the F13 or F14 and can't seen to get a lot of info on them. If you find out much about clearances and stuff let me know. I'd like to go as big as possible without having to tune it all the time. Mine's just a street car and I want the best sound and hp without losing my torque.

I can tell you that in my roomate's car, the F13 wouldn't fit under Patriot Stage II LS6 with the 2.05 intake valve. If he'd had the 2.02, it would have cleared. The heads barely ended up working with the F11, valve drop was pretty low.

what kind of heads would work best with the F14...5.3 Patriots?

go with prc instead of patriots much better quality for the money
