Stock internal as in the motor. You can run a 12bolt, upgraded tranny, driveshaft all suspension to get on that list. The only rule is stock internal motor, no touching the motor, internally.

Hes a decent driver but nothing special, im sure someone with better track skills could muster a mid 11 pass. But thats still not the point I was trying to get at, and that is with his mods he was still low 12's/high 11's, and that is with a lot of internal engine mods. So how does a stock internal bolt on car run a 11 second pass?
I know the point you were trying to make, but his car should be low 11's with the right suspension parts. Him running low 12's with heads cam isn't hard to believe with a stock 10 bolt and a slipping clutch. Upgrade those two and add some sticky tires and run low 11's. Most of the cars running 11's with stock internals are on an upgraded rear with sticky tires and skinnies in the front. Some also have good suspension, along with some weight reduction. In other words, they are ready for the track.

Well my 2002 SS convertable ran a 12.08@109 with a 1.68 60ft with just a ST3500 yank converter and gutted factory conveters and a predator programming ....and that was at 3650 #. 11's are not that hard to get with a stall /headers/programming/sticky tires/and a little weight taken out like everyone does anyways.

Wow thats crazy! Thats some damn good driving. I know there are cam only cars that are low 11's, some even in the high 10's, but i didnt know that an ls1 could hit mid to low 11's without an aftermarket cam, heads, or FI. Thats insane and some damn good driving, props to the guys who hit those numbers!

Right on most of them are auto with a converter, that makes a heck of a diffirence on a stock LS1. Six speed cars have to do more to come up with some more torque. Like add some gears. Autos especially with a big stall, and good tune. Launch and ETs #'s are gonna be good.
