Not sure on those heads. Probably not for the good to try and get 305 out of them.

Your best bet would be to go with some 6.0L heads

6.0 L heads have a larger Combustion Chamber and that would lower it compared to stock. would be great for FI. you should get some 243's if you get ls6 heads not the 317's or whatever they are. just my .02

305 out of an LS1 head is doable. Ive heard some people getting and lot more out of an all out race LS1 head.

Well the 853 head is no different from a 241 casting or even a 852 truck head. Combustion chamber is the only thing that changes there. It isnt uncommon to see 300+cfm out of them. I believe TEA claims 318 cfm up top from the stage 1.5 I have seen Trevor Johnson's work go about 320 in person and my own has been 305. So by no means is it a big deal.

Leave the rockers alone, period. You will see absolutley no gains. That is unless you are sliding in a .700 lift solid roller cam.

Mine flow 306@.650 and 299@ .600 and my head porter said he can bring them up to 330 cfm@.650 if needed for larger cubes.

I would like to see that from a set of 241/853 heads. Sounds like smoke to me.
