Default cam

hi everyone i'm new to LS1 engine and basicly i don't know much about engine. i have 2001 trans am ws6 LS1 with 80,000 on clock, it is too late or not to do cam swap? and i asked the guy from TSP, he sugested me with Torquer v2 camshaft, 232/234, .595"/.598" on a 112LSA for my TA. and yes i want to be fast like you guys ,my ta right now is daily drive and its about 6 miles everyday back and forth to work.

thats a healthy cam right there...should make osme nice power......its never too late to do anything

Yeah, there are plenty of people that do high-mileage cam swaps. I did mine at about 68,000. You will most likely be replacing your entire drivetrain though.
Sounds like a good cam. What kind of power are you looking to make though?
And what is your goal for this car as far as FI or N/A or Nitrous?

Looks like you could probably spray that cam, so I was just wondering if you were going to get a 75-150 shot.

my goal right now is 400+ hp and N/A. not that much since i have to get new clucth and other stuff to support hp.

I have the same spec cam, its a comp cam though. Click the link in my sig and download the video so you can hear it. Mods are listed in sig also. I love it, but you will need a new clutch. I'm about to order a spec stage 2+ and my motor has more miles than yours does...
