00 Zcamaro goverd??

Hello every One i just bought a 00 a4 Z28 camaro 2 days ago only 12k Miles (WOOT) on it with every option i thi8nk possible. ground package and chrome rims..also. only promblem i have Reached is it only dose 115MPH
My LT1 gose faster then that..

is there anything i can do to change this i have heard some of them do come like this do i Need to purchase the DIablo Programmer to solve this .. and is there anything esle i might need to know or look out for this CAR This is my 1st LS1

you have a speed limiter on your car. you can change that and the rev limiter with a hand held program or have it tuned by someone.

Your speed limiter is set based on the tire rating the car came from the factory with. You can change it with any edit program.

Hey thanks guys.. ya Cop CAr they still have the orgional tires on them.. lol they are not Z rated has the 2.73 in it to .. guess i need to get the programer now.. Do these Camaros Tend to DYno Lower or Higher then the others? or same

its a saftey thing. The tires that GM put on the car on the assym line were only good for 115. I wouldnt change it or go any faster untill you got a Z rated tire.
