Default Installing G5X3 on 114

Hi Guys,

Wanted to know if my car is going to run well enough to drive 60 miles to my tuner after I install my G5X3 this weekend. I know a bunch of you guys are running this cam and I'm looking for some input.
Mods in sig.

Thanks
John

It will drive fine...Just won't idle for crap...I drove mine home on the stock tune...You'll have to "two foot it" at any stoplights...

Peace...Gman

just open the tb set screw about 1.5-2 turns and reset the tps. it should run ok. I Daily drove my car almost 20 miles a day without a tune and I have a G5x3 on 112 with a stock 4sp auto (no stall) AND 2.73 gears.

I have this cam, with patriot stage II's, longtubes, Fast 90/90 TB on my Z06 and lost out bigtime because I went with a 64cc head. Make sure that you are getting a set with a 59cc chamber. However, you will have to stay with an intake valve in the 2.02 range. It's sad that my Z06 only make 421/376 with this combo, where if I had a better set of heads I should be close to 500/420 tuned.
