Default speed engineering vs prc & tr

i was thinking of getting the PRC 2.5 heads with a TR224 but i recently saw speed engineering has a head/cam package. does anybody have any experience with the speed engineering stuff. the head/cam package is only $1799. while the prc heads are $1529 + the TR224 or TSP 225 is $389 total of $1918

SE cam specs 224/224 .571/.571 112 (SE1 224 Cam)
TR224 specs 224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA
TSP225 specs 225/225, .589"/.589", 112 LSA

I'm interested in the comparison as well. With the lift difference of .008 would the SE provide a little more midrange power than the TR224?

we use a similar cam at times(232/238 .575/.585 112LSA) and it is a sweet setup pulls like a ****. we ran 11.4 at 122 on a heads and cam M6 car with the 232/238 so I would say a 232/236 would be similar.

It depends how much advance is in the cam. If it is plus 4 degress it should peak around 6300 rpm

I would go with anyone other than SE.... all they are doing is piggybacking everyone else's work and putting their "own" line out. They have no engineers or anyone else that would have extensive knowledge of how an internal combustion motor should work.Usually from a business perspective it is the norm that the owner would have more knowledge base than his "friends". I hope this gives you some insight as to what you might expect when asking them technical information on "their" products. If u are looking to save a couple of bucks I would advise you to spend the extra couple hundred and save yourself more money down the road.
