What vehicle do the 5.3L heads come from? Just wondering if I could find a steel from a junk yard on some 5.3L heads. But I don't know what I'm looking for.

If you are planning just to swap heads 1>1 without porting, don't.
4.8/5.3L heads flow less than LS1 heads in stock form.
Porting them require changing valves so only the core could be used. New cores are only like 450 $$.
