I have no problem with you presuming you are an expert. You can presume you are blue and from Mars for all I care. Again, I thought it was funny the way you went about it and your reasoning behind it.

30" is a little light even..... Darts bench does 80" wet flow with fuel!

Turning up the bench is a really good thing that you can learn a lot from, no bench so far can pull as much as the motor sees yet.

So, what is the price going to be with the "touch up" work? (ball park)

Yep, thats what I was saying. This is also a big reason why increased port volume heads dont show as much results on the flow bench, as they do on the dyno.

Probably wouldnt flow much more, he said initially they are setup for a 3.9 bore. Its not like a 2.1 valved head where you are shrouding the flow path big time. Nonetheless, sorry for hijacking your thread guys. Go get after that trickflow head and see what its got.

Sorry if my post annoyed anyone, wasn't my intent. I'm glad to see someone else's text book has the same info as mine! I thought mine was a big typo for a whil!

.700 320 232 72%

The customer wanted the ports to look "pretty" so they were just cartridge rolled and had some minor work around the guides to narrow them down, but the heads really liked this. So were looking at under 230cc intake port volume here. I have zero work in the bowls, nothing enlarged or dropped, I would expect some more flow above .500 with that, but that can be for another set. These castings make anyone look good on the bench, can't wait to get a set in the hands of someone really good.

The more impressive thing is that cranking up the bench to a lot higher depression doesn't bother these heads at all, they are happy as a clam with a smooth flow and NO turbulence at all. Try that on 95% of the LS heads out there and see what happens, most of them aint happy.

I don't port heads for a living, I'm just doing some testing for Dart on these castings. I do engines and valvetrains and I had a customer with one of my valvetrains want a set of these, so the stars aligned and everything worked out this way.
