Default Forged crank needed? Yes or no.

I am having an all bore 382 with Darton sleeves installed soon with forged pistons. This setup should produce somwhere in the 450 to 475 rwhp range hopefully. I am wanting to spray about a 200 to 250 shot of nitrous on it. Will a heat treated stock crank hold up to that kind of power? What about the connecting rods and main bearings. Thanks for any advice.

I would put a good crank in it.
4.125 forged would be nice <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> hehe

That's what I'm having made at ARE right now. Except I'm having the stock crank ofset ground and treated to give me 393. I'm looking to spray in the 300 range. Block is getting O-ringed, along with upgraded main studs, and head studs.
