Default Resleeving stock bore with stock sized bore

Has anyone ever resleeved the stock block 3.898 with another factory sized sleeve?

Probably pick up a used or even new block for what the sleeve and labor would cost you.

I agree with shawn. Why take a chance when a used block could be had for 450. If your gonna take a chance on a resleeve it might as well be for a big bore.

Yea, I highly doubt that anyone has resleeved a block and went stock bore. If you're gonna sleeve it - go big. If you want to reuse rotating assembly - get a different block.

If someone was local to Steve D to where the shipping didn't kill them, it might be ok, but I still think it would run $300 or so.

Why would you want ro resleeve and keep the same bore size ? Ls1's cast in sleeves make them difficult to remove and help drive up the cost compared to a press in sleeve . As mentioned before a new or used block can be had for little money , to the point it's made it difficult for me to sell my block with Katech billet mains .

Yes, but what about resleeving for big bores and having the Billet mains? Now that should be a decent block.

I would love to do a big bore but when you factor in all the costs you're not far from the Warhawk block . I feel the cost of blueprinting should be added to the Warhawk to compare each other . If I could get this block resleeved somewhat affordably I'd be all over it . Lately all these new products available to us has made it very difficult to decide on where I want to spend my money . I'm sure there are people who spent BIG $$$$ years ago saying WTF !!! It costs money to be the first kid with the new toy , now what toys do I want ?
