sewing machine noise?
Just wondering if this the same sound that people talk about after getting Long Tube headers installed?! Mine has the ticking sound after Pacesetters installed(and I do have restrictor plates put in if that matters). Just want some info on this. Thanks

Also how would the seafoam track it down?

I have a ticking noise that might sound the same. I have a sound clip that I created of it, but I do not know where to post it. Can someone tell me where I can post it? I want to see if this is the same noise some of you have.

Recalibrate? Nope. Ticking could be a lot of things, but if it goes away after warming up that could be an indication of piston slap which is plenty common in a stock LS1.

I read somewhere on here that you could use slightly shorter pushrods to reduce some preload on the lifters and make it a little bit less like a sewing machine. Is that correct?
