You have many choices. You have to decide on what material you want, what quench you want and what compression ratio you want. Cometics are popular and come in good sizes but are expensive and hard to find. GM MLS gaskets only come in .060 and are dirt cheap but reliable. Few other optins out there as well

I have installed 4 sets of Cometics now and re-used 1 set (I always use Copper Spray sealant). No issues ever. The coolant passages are the same. Also, beware you can install any gasket backwards and cause serious cooling problems...

I would agree if they were just copper, but check them out (summit sells them, among others) as they also use an elastic bead (for lack of a better term) just like other gaskets intended for street use. I don't think that many people have used them since they are so new. I'm committed to using them, I just bought a set as a reasonable alternative to cometics.

i put the stock graphites on when i put my 243's on because that's what came in the kit. but i've heard they seal up qiute nice and you get a tad more compression due to a thinner crushed thinkness. but they are a B*TCH to clean up.
