Street driven Max effort setups are making about 480rwhp. Few 346ci's see over 500rwhp.
Your car weighs more and is not geared like them.
You need 125+mph trap potential.
thats why they made nitrous. along these lines, do you guys think a 224/228 would fair better than a 224/224 with juice, say a 150rwhp shot? i know the juice likes higher exhaust durration, but do you think it will make much of a difference?

Futral uses cam motion lobes. Less aggresive than XER from what I understand. Worth a look and at least, a call to them.

Traditional split helps, yes, but from what I understand, the benefits aren't really noticeable until you're spraying lots more (nitrous guys please chime in).
Either one will fare well.

isnt it also better for supercharger applications as well compared to the split durration cams?

As long as you keep the LSA over 114. Again, not my area of expertise.
Most the shops have their proprietary forced induction grinds listed on their website----->
Futral, Thunder, etc.

local guy is selling his 226/226 114 cam for 150.00

I have decided to buy that.... replace the springs... and then eventually get a set of 300 or so flowing heads.

Quick Reply: Cam for Ls1 Intake, 3.42's, heads, and no surges at idle.
