Default Post up your ultimate/dream setup!

Hey everyone, I've been daydreaming and watching way too many ls1tech/streetfire videos, and thinking of what I'd do if I had money. Here's my dream set up:
-370ci aluminum block (LS2, iron-sleeved, bored .030" over)
-Forged rods and pistons
-Paxton Novi 2000, 12psi (would take some custom work)
-Custom blower cam (somewhere in the high 230's/low 240's)
-ET 225cc heads
-Port-match FAST 90 intake/NW 90mm throttle body
-FAST direct port nitrous setup
-QTP headers with HVMC's
-QTP ORY
-Custom dumped Corsa catback
-Built TH350 with Gear Vendors overdrive (6 gears!)
-3800 stall
-12-bolt with 3.90's

mines not that big but:

LS6 block
F13 cam
LS6 heads with "the works"
fast 90/90 setup
MAF nitrous kit with a 75/100 shot
built 4L60E, 3500 stall
12 bolt with 3.73's
and full suspension

hopefully I can pull some mid 10s with that setup if not faster

500ci ls1, 101-106 mm thumper turbo, 160 lb injectors,lenco,all in a street car.anybody want to race from a roll ???

402 TT aluminum block and whatever 15psi will get me. or v2: the first to build a pro-mod lsx motor with a world block, 6 bolt ls7 heads, custom intake, and a HUGE twin turbo setup or the biggest centrifugal blower i can find. hey slow trap, race ya froma dig

Ok, now I'm thinking too much. I was thinking of what my ultimate N/A and N2O setup would be for what I want and here's what I came up with:
-370 aluminum block (LS2 bored .030" over -- see a pattern here?)
-Forged 3.622" crank
-Forged rods/4.03" domed pistons
-Custom ground cam (252/260, .610"/.620", 115LSA)
-P&P milled LS6 heads (target compression ratio = 11.5-12:1)
-Port matched FAST 90mm intake
-FAST 90mm direct port nitrous system
-Edelbrock Victor Drag stepped long tube headers
-3" ORX pipe to dumped Borla XR1's
-Built 4L60E
-3800 stall
-Built 10-bolt with 3.42:1's

Highway car. Would be fun.

DREAM scenario.................

1) Jessisa Simpson ditches Nick (so far, so good).
2) She meets another Bearcat fan (could happen).
3) She falls in love with said Bearcat fan (OK, its a BIG stretch).
4) She marries said Bearcat fan and for a wedding present she gives her new hubby $1,000,000 for his car and his weekend hobby of racing (also a BIG stretch).
5) On their wedding night........................... (OK, it AIN'T gonna happen).

dream setup would be an ihra prostock setup. but for a gen III it would be what i'm building right now

6.0 0.030" over
callies racelight 4.125" crank
grp rods
wiseco custom 11* pistons
etp 255cc 11* heads
huge solid roller
beck sheet metal manifold
jesel lifters
LSM springs and valve train
t&d rockers
libertys gears tranny, ram clutch, mcleod prostock can with adapter for ls1 bolts
2900# race weight
91mm single front mount a2w and a plate for fun...should be done as soon as the damn pistons get built

Well here goes:

383 c.i. unless i can get bigger LS1 aluminum block
Forged 4 inch stroker crank (or more havent decided)
Forged rods and pistons
100-120 lb/hr injectors
Aftermarket heads (havent researched yet)
Lingenfelter intake manifold w/90mm throttle body
Custom headers meeting up with two turbos
Obviously the turbos (something by garret, looking into T4's)
Fidanza (SP?) flywheel
Carbon fiber driveshaft
Built T56 trans
4-link suspension w/quick change rear end
6-8 pt roll cage
intercooler for turbos with nitrous cooling
underdrive pulleys
fairly agressive cam (again no research as of yet)
as many fibeglass panels as is possible on my application
lifters and springs
roller rockers

That should cover it, haven't researched too much because I'm only stripping the engine and car and will do body mods first then go to all engine and trans mods. Will be building this set up, just a matter of time.

biggest SR cam that will still idle
ETP 225 11 degree heads (maybe, still ain't seen results yet)

i was thinking simililar things. LS7 with full boltons and full valvtrain package from LGM with a direct port jetted for 250rwhp
