Might be a blown gasket. How many mile you have on them?

You sure it's not the valvecover? I'm having a hard time seeing how a head gasket could leak oil. Also how's the oil pressure sending unit. If broken it could leak as well. Just a few options.

it's not the valve cover or sender that was one of the first things i checked. i was also doubtful about the head leaking oil but that is where i think it is coming from. washed it down with carb cleaner and let it idle in the air and you can see a slow trickle coming from the side of the block between the head and block near the last head bolt. is it possible it could be coming up the heat bolt? i was told they were blind holes and only needed moly lube for torqueing purposes.

I'm not sure, but there is no oil passing through the head gasket, only coolant. So how could oil be coming out of there? This is strange. The only thing I can think of is some sort of crank in the head.

i know there is oil returing in drain holes but nothing under pressure. it is not coming out under pressure just a slow trickle not spraying.

Drain holes are up towards the intake. Where you describe your leak, not sure what the cause could be
