Trick Flow Heads
Trick Flow Heads Anyone have any info on these? I see Summit now has them listed on their sight with a Jan 20th ship date. I assume the 13.5 degree would give a better PTV clerance for larger cams.

Here is what we know about that head. We have a prototype here and the flow numbers they advertise are accurate. The head is also designed to fit a 3.900" bore and uses stock rocker arms but will require a longer pushrod. There is alot of valve drop(more than the stock 5.7) with the 13.5 valve angle and the 2.040" valve, that's why they did it that way. The exhaust port seems a little on the big side, hence the big flow #'s but it only uses a 1.57" valve so it should still run very good we'll have to wait and see. They will all be cnc'd at 1st but they are working on an as cast version coming later in the year that should be pretty good too.

Hey do you know if those exhaust numbers were with or without a pipe?
I've always liked the old TFS head for the sbc. They were sometimes a PITA to work with to get everything right, but always performed very well.

Those numbers are defentially with a pipe.
Probally a large pipe that is very short and extreemly straight.
Maybe 10" long...??????
