Default cam spec question
i know but search is not working and has not been for a few days...

what are the specs for a g5x4 cam

the t-rex is 242 248 608 612 110
and ms3 is 236 242 603 609 113 (i think?)

and im trying to decide what i wanna go with but i dont know the x4's specs.

the G5X4 is smaller than the TREX. either will work on stock heads with no flycutting so you cant really go wrong with either.

For an auto daily driver i would run the MS3, due to the more friendly LSA.

If you are like me and everything ends up being max effort run the Trex!

I called them yesterday to discuss the G5X1's specs and they gave me the "unreleased" crap. Lol.

I just wanted to ask their opinion about XER lobes on roadrace applications and they got all defensive about their cam specs.

A lot of people already know them. I don't know why they care anymore. They are like GM with the 2009 camaro release.

Yeah, I know. And wasn't even calling about their latest grind, just an ol' G5X1 whose specs are posted on their site and whose specs have been whored out to all on the internet for years now.

call them and get a custom ground cam just for your application. off the shelf grinds are for lazy people!

yeah but i was looking for maybe something in between. haha. maybe not as big as the t rex but something bigger then the ms3.

i might just get the ms3 when i comes time...hopefully soon
