Bringing this back.

Today I pulled my stock rockers to discover 2 have seriously bad side to side play.

So I'm thinking of going with these.

Do you have to do any machining to the heads? Like does the rocker arm bolt work like the stock M8x1.25? What about pushrods, do you have to clearance the holes any larger? Thanks. I assume the kit doesn't come with pushrods, you have to measure what length you need then order?

They come with studs that replace the stock rocker bolts, the studs hold down the pushrod guide plates. You need to use a hardened pushrod with these account of the
guide plates will wear a stocker. No other pushrod mods needed if you stay with the 5/16 size.Stock pushrod length works for stock base circle cams, assuming no milling
or weird headgasket thickness.

Sounds like the Crane quick lift style. Thanks for the help, I think I'm going to order these in 5/16".

With the pushrod, I have a 7.300 to go with my AFR's cut .018, morel lifters ( a little higher than stock plunger depth ) I can literally swap these on? I have 7.300 comp cam hardened now with .080 wall, their hi-tech line. At the same time I've been at this enuf to know to measure first.

Thanks z-ya for the help.

Might work well with your 7.300 pushrods.Try them by coloring the top of the valve stem and lashing that valve, roll the motor thru 2 revolutions and pull the rocker. If
the swipe made by the rocker is in the middle of the valve stem you are good to go.
I use a magic marker to color the valve stem.
