Default is this cam to much??

I am thinking about a 233/239 .595/.603 with 112 seperation. I will also be installing ported/polished 98 heads. With new springs, pushrods, and lifters. Is this going to be too much? This is a daily driver/ weekend strip car. I also plan on running a 100 shot with this setup. Any advice would be appreciated.

i would suggest a larger stall to get the most out of that particular cam. but not much bigger than 3500 as you plan on spraying it.

Is it too much?
Probably.
Do I love it?
Definately.

Lopes like a mother, pulls like a mother, I should pull over 450 after I get the heads and 90/90 installed (they are on the way) Put down 383 w/exhaust and cam. stock heads, intake, tb, etc......

I have that cam and I really like it. A little much for a driver, it sounds good and pulls strong from 3000-6500.

I think you'll like that cam, and with a good tune you won't have any issues driving it daily. If you still have the LS1 intake on your car it's going to choke it though. Need to look into getting an LS6 intake or a FAST.
