Default How much can I mill my 5.3L heads?

A friend of mine runs a machine shop and he's going to redo my heads. I have some 5.3L heads, we are going to port them, size them for bigger valves, 3-angle them, and mill them down.

This car isn't a daily driver, I maybe drive it once or twice a week if the weather is nice. I'd like to run pump gas, so I want to be able to run 93 octane with no problems.

What would you guys suggest? I have a Futral F5 cam waiting to go in it as well.

Guess it would help if I put what valves/cam I have.

2.00/1.55 valves are going in the heads.

Cam is a Futral F5 cam - 224/228 588/576 114cl

I'm looking for a good compression boost, around 10.5:1 hopefully.

Anyone have any good milling/head gasket thickness recommendations?

I would think with .030 off, you'd be much higher that 11:1. I thought 5.3 were close to 10.8:1 stock

I have a set of 5.3 saved 0.30" and i had Farea 2.02" & 1.575" valves in the stock seats with a 5 angle valve job and custom port & polish job.

my motor was built by texas-speed. and i think the reason it still sits at 11 to 1 instead of being higher is because my pistons have 4cc valve reliefs in them

So you guys think going .030 on them and using the stock head gasket thickness, I'd be ok with the p/v clearance? Or will this be pushing the limits of that and pump gas?
