Thanks much.

65mph in 6th is no problem, I sometimes even run 55mph in 6th gear no sweat! I've still got my stock 3.42's as well. 1500rpm is only a problem when going thru parking lots in 2nd gear ... but once its warmed up driveability is really as close to "stock" as your gonna get IMO. I cruise 1000-1100rpm in 4th gear and up daily.
The driveability of the cam will depend on your tune alot. But with an above average tune its not a problem at all.

I might consider this cam instead of the 226/.575 110+2 cam I've been looking at

I absolutely love it. Runs like a banshee avoe 3k, 3.42 gears, I'd love to have 4.10's. It's my DD.

There is no advance built in the TR230, it's straight up 111 ICL and 111 LSA.

why are you counfused steve, TR230 cam 918 springs and comp cams tit retainers for $575 is a good price, go to thunder racing and add these items to the cart and see what you would have to pay, around $840.00 for these 3 items + shipping, and i don't know how much you would have to pay for the install since your also changing your intake but over all its a bargine compared to what i paid
.
