I have this cam in right now but I'm going bigger now also.
I loved this cam. Great sound at idle. Pulls very well. It is great for a DD or mild street car.
Look at my sig. You will be very pleased with it!!

a buddy of mine (FstBlkz28) has that cam in his 2001 Z28 and made 395hp through headers and true duals! From riding with him i can tell you that it pulls real hard throughout the RPM range! Nice cam and best with free flowing exhaust!

I don't know how they pull, but there is a sound clip of a 04 Z06 on LS1sounds.com and it is one of the best if not the best sounding cars I have ever heard.

I believe it, it sounds awesome.

I just checked, the one in the clip has an MTI X1 cam. About the same numbers.

This cam is great. Best for stock intake and modified, free flowing exhaust. Great street manners.

Actually I was serious. Cam manners are all in the eye of the beholder/tuner/driver. My .595/ .595 242/244 110lsa in my 353cid LT4 I thought was a "medium size", fine for daily driving....to me. I don't consider it a BIG cam unless it's .625+ 245+ duration, mainly solid roller territory. IMO.

I've got a TR230. It idles at 850, pulls hard, sounds mean. I run duals that dump under the car through 24" long 2 1/2" magnaflows. I cant hit it hard in 2nd without loosing traction above 3500 rpm. 3rd finally grips ok, I think.

I used to run the TR230 cam before the Trex. The TR230 was/is one of my favorite cams to date, perfect for mild street/strip car and can be easily a DD. worked very well with my setup, I highly recomend it to anyone as a great street/strip cam.
