Default ET 245's are finally here!!(Pics inside..56k beware)

Well.....It has been a long wait. After almost 6 months my heads are here. Obvioulsy I got in on the ET deal just before stuff hit the fan with their suppliers/hurricanes/foundry issues etc. I can't thank EDC enough for staying in touch with Cary to make sure I'd have the right setup for my new cam.

The heads are ET 245cc 11* valve angle heads. I got them with a 62cc chamber and 2.08/1.60 valves. I also (with the help of Ed) got Cary to do some searching for the "right valve spring" for my custom cam. With lift up in the .660 area I didn't want to leave anything to chance. What we ended up with are valve springs from PSI that are good to over .700" of lift and the matching titaniaum retainers. Cary couldn't believe how radical the cam setup is, and said to keep him informed on the results. He really helped out towards the end making up for all the lost time by assisting me in other areas. Truly a class act as frustraiting as the wait was.

According to LME my motor will be ready to ship on Friday. I'm hoping for some awsome results and almost sure I won't be dissapointed. I left the pics slightly large after re-sizing them so you can see the details. Enjoy:

Well, I was fixing to throw up some pics of my 265's, but these look exactly the same. My combustion chambers are hand finished and I got the super 7 style light weight reatainers, but other than that, they look exactly the same.

Those look like standard titanium retainers to me. Mine look far diffrent from those. If they are the light weights, they'll have a date and a DW526LTW etched on top of the retainer.

Different spring...different retainer. All Del West retainers don't look the same...do they?

He should have the same spring as me. .700" PSI springs on both heads. I'll post a pic of mine later. It's got material removed from just about every where, giving it a distinct look.
