Default Car has been sitting for 3 months

I'm going to start it this weekend. Definitely changing the oil. Gas tank is full so that shouldn't be a problem. Anything else I should check? I've never let it sit so long with out starting it up.... I've been working out of town alot though...

Just make sure you don't have a full tank of bad gas.

Gas isn't a big concern, it's only been a couple months, my garage is warm & dry. At most it lost some octane. I was more concerned with anything internal...

Gas usually only takes about 6 weeks before starting to break down into ****. I think it will be fine though personally.

personally, i'd pull the fuel pump fuse and disconnect the coil packs. then turn the car over with the starter until you see oil pressure.

i let my car sit for around 3 months when my clutch went out. i was worried about oil pressure and did the above. it took a long time for the pressure to get off of zero.

Intersting point. How long is a long time? About the same as when you change your oil? Because I plan on changing mine before I drive it.

Mine sat in the garage for 18 months and ran fine on the 1/2 tank of gas that was in there, although half of it was 100 octane. engine oil was fine, oil pressure snapped right to 60 on start up, I did change it after warm up. I did pull the coil pack plugs and turn it over for about 20-30 seconds first though. I don't think 3 months is much to worry about IMO, but doesn't hurt to check things out...
