Yea, that's the only thing I can think of, just check everything connected to the K-member and steering rack even the brake lines, any hoses, anything. I really can't think of anything else man sorry.

If you didn't get this already. In the middle of the steering shaft you will see a bolt holding the 2 pieces together. Simply take that bolt out. When you are putting things back together, be sure to get the steering shaft back together and the bolt finger tight before tightening the K-member bolts back up.

A/C lines? You can unbolt the compressor from the motor and let it swing out by the radiator.

Just be patient, you CAN do it. Its been done before, and its not that big of a deal. If i was you, i'd throw some katech rodbolts or similar in there! Perfect time to do it

Get a buddy over there to help, things are alot less stressful when you have someone with you.

Got the pan out.

Cleaned it all up. There was a lot of sludge in there! damn!

Now I just need to swap the rod bolts

The oil pan gasket kinda got a little bent up when I removed the pan...is it best to replace it?

I cant find the other paper towel though??? Any where else it could of gone? lol.

It's magic!
Don't you feel better now that you got it out? What was holding the K-member back?

EDIT- oh, and yea you should probably replace the gasket just to be safe IMO

Seriously!!!! I was able to unbolt those 6 bolts a little bit more...I guess it dropped a little bit on its own over the night or something. But it barley slid out there...soooo close lol.
