Removing oil pan...help.

YOu do realize the motor is going to have to come way up to clear the pick up tube right? The pick up tube sits real close to the bottom of the pan. The bellhousing & front pulley should be fine. If you had access to a cherry picker that would help I guess. You could then just pick up on it from the top. What exaclty are you trying to do? Id rather pull the motor than fight with trying to get it out with the motor still in.

Yeah I got two jack stands on. Now I just need to raise the motor up so that I can take the pan out...
I was the idiot who left some **** in the oil pan...so now I have to drop it and take it all out.

Prolly the trans. I would think the bell housing would hit the firewall before the motor got high enough to remove the pan. Did you leave something you can just drop the pan & raise the motor enough to get a magnet to get it out?

Found two 18mm's there is one 22mm or so, is that the third?
Is it in that hole in the k member?
Should I support it in anyway as I loosen them? or just let it drop on its own?
