Default TR 230/224 111 cam streetable?

i went from wanting a tr 224, to someone telling me to upgrade from that, so i decided a 226, but then a member told me that his 228 is streetable, and then they said ANYTHING is streetable now adays, with a right tune, so im wondering if a TR 230/224 111 is streetable? need your opinions, thanx

I agree anything is streetable now, but 111 is not an LSA that I think is totally streetable. There are much more streetable cams with as good of power.

The TR230 is streetable. I ran it some time time on my A4 car, was a great cam. I don't agree that anything is streetable. Just cause someone is willing to drive it on the street doesn't really mean squat. You have to define what is streetable to you and look for a cam to suit. The TR224 cam is a great all around cam and will give you very stockish manners. TR230 will be a bit more noticeable and give you about 10 more RWHP peak, area under the curve will be almost identical to the TR224 cam.

there is nothing wrong with a 111 LSA - it works for me - check out my dyno sheet

I daily drive my car (TR230/224 .575/.563 111) and it is perfectly streetable after a tune. Hell even before it was tuned, it was nothing that bad. The cam has a great torque curve, and awesome mid range and good top end power.

My car put down 395/377 at the wheels w/ the cam and duals. I haven't been to the dyno since my new exhaust setup. But the car still hauls ***** all the way till I shift so I'm guessing I didn't lose anymore than 10hp.
