I second this!

Patrick, did you have any more tuning done to see if you could get more than 5hp/5torque over the 205's?

From what I remember the 205 and 225 had very similar Exhaust port flow numbers. If you are increasing the intake port flow numbers but those types of numbers wouldn't it justify a different split on the cam? If your getting more air in, what have you done to get the additional air out???

OK.....whats the deal with decade old thread resurrection of late??

Not to mention both heads in question technically don't exist any longer.....they were updated in 2010

I guess what the thread does highlight however is the feel of a higher velocity port on the street is always bonus. Ported OEM heads need alot of port volume to get close...and only close, to what a clean sheet design can typically accomplish (assuming its a well designed port).....you lose that crispness, throttle response and tip in and you still cant make the same peak power generally because at the end of the day you still have less airflow thru a larger hole and its the total airflow combined with air speed that fills the cylinder.

Anyway....The Gman archives are still going strong!.....LOL

Another back from the dead thread.... Must be "back to the future" month, or "rise of the zombies" .
