Default Putting engine on engine stand..

I'm going to put my engine on an engine stand to do work but I don't have any bolts. What size/pitch threads do I need on the bolts for the LS1?

I want to say M10 x 1.50, but not exactly sure. You just need longer versions of the bell housing bolts and some washers.

How's the project comming?

I have used the bolts from the power steering mount and alternator mount, just get a handful of washers to make adjustments. the fit perfectly

Thanks for the info. I should have the motor out of the car tomorrow so I can do the heads, cam, rod bolts, and motor mounts. It's just damn cold out, especially when laying on the pavement for extended periods of time. It's been in the 40's and 50's here all winter (really abnormal) but now it decides to get cold, figures but oh well I'm too far in now to stop.

Don't do what did and use the holes in the oil pan portion. Worked great until I wanted to remove the oil pan had to pull the hoist out, hook it up to the motor and move the engine stand head around.
