Default Am i missing anything (Cam Install)

Aight guys going to install a cam in my 00 vette M6. Going to do a custome grind 236/244 .610/.620 114lsa. Im also going to upgrade to a LS6 intake, Ls2 timing chain, Underdrive Pully, Patriot Performace springs, Is there anything that im forgetting? I would like to only do this task once. lol

I would do pushrods for sure and depending on how many miles you have, the oil pump also.

im at 42000miles now. is the oil pump easy to do while your there?

The oil pump is easy to do. Yours would probably be fine though. I would definitely buy some hardened pushrods though. Do you have all the gaskets?

I get them from TSP. They sell the basic cam gasket kit. Plus, you need to pull the oil pump to change the chain anyway. You need to get a new oil pump pickup tube O-ring as well.

I didn't change the oil pump on my '02 Z when the F13 was installed. The factory one is still holding great oil pressure. Oh yeah go with the harden pushrods like everyone has said.

He has a 2000. 01 and 02 pumps were more reliable, but not so much for 2000 and before.

I'm running a Mellings pump, its holding great pressure all around. 60psi most of the time.
