A kit like that would be insane amounts of work and money if such a thing even exists.
LSX motors I feel are the best OHV motors out there. I am a total tech geek and swore up and down I'd never touch another dinosaur like OHV but well you see what happened.
We don't need tons of cams to go fast. Keep the OHV setup and enjoy the best OHV motor out there.

King Kong - the best thing you should do is use Google and go learn a little about engine configurations.
If you REALLY REALLY want a 32v setup then it is possible but very expensive. However it still uses a single cam push rod setup.
But in all honesty why would you want such a thing.
DOHC technology is superior in terms of performance, but the LSx engines are very very good for OHV and have the typical large displacement to go along with it.
A bolt on cam car will be able to make 400-420rwhp, add heads and such and 450-470rwhp is possible all at the stock displacement of 346ci.
Then there's large displacment options such 383, 402, 408, 427 these will all manage similar efficency in terms of bhp/litre but due to their displacement increase will be even more powerful. High 400's and 500+rwhp is quite possible all n/a and all pretty streetable.
Then of course you have FI, where 500rwhp is easy with stock internals of a 346ci engine. Go forged and up the displacement and 700rwhp is easy and upto 1200+rwhp is possible.
So there's no need to worry about DOHC conversions 'unless' you have a specific need or purpose.

Just go buy a Northstar V8 and hot rod it. You'll end up spending a ton more money and still coming up short. Although the LSX small blocks are using and "old tech" single cam setup they are reliable, cheap and put down good power. HArd to beat bang for the buck of an LSx engine.

single-cam OHV is not necessarily "old-tech" when compared to OHC or DOHC. There were OHC's waaaay back in the early years of cars. Just because Honda came out with VTec doesn't mean our pushrods are "inferior".

Actually there has been "custom" SOHC LS1s allready made. So don't cry NOOOOO so fast.
There is a guy in Cali that has done it on stock block with special heads etc....
It is just no really necessary since the simplicity of the lS1 is what makes such a jewel.
