Default Someone with Cam Doctor check this cam?

Hi, It is a custom grind from Comp Cams for my CTS-V. Looking for thoughts on cam timing and its use in my application. Here are the specs:

LS1 XE-R Lobes: 3720/3722
Gross Lift: .581/.581
Lobe Lift: .342/.342
Duration:
.006 269/273
.050 220/224
Timing @ .050
Int: 0* BTDC 40* ABDC
Exh: 50* BBDC -6 ATDC

LSA: 114* ICL Installed: 110*

Any thoughts on whether to install with advance, straight up or retarded?

Mods: CAI, Shaner Ported Throttle Body, 170* Thermostat, Kook's Headers, Cat Back Magnaflow, DTE Stage II Tune, Aluminum Flywheel, Underdrive Pulley, Dart Heads; Daily Driven 20k+ each year.

Thanks in advance, Mickey

It already has 4 degrees on advance ground in, so I would think install it straight up... Street car, right??? What is DTE Stage II Tune?

appears it already has 4* of advance ground into it. 220/224 581/581 on a 114 lsa with xe-r lobes. i'd install it straight up..

Thanks for the info guys. By straight up I meant installing it with an ICL of 114 which would actually be 4* retard for this one.

Dyno Tech Engineering tuned it based on a CTS-V with exhaust and cold air kit.

Any thoughts on the best way to install this cam and if it seems like a good cam for daily driving with some 1/4 mile? Car has run 12.89 @ 112 without the headers, heads and cam (which will be installed at the same time)

Thanks again, MIckey

judging by it's size, it should be a very mild mannered street cam that'll give you a kick in the ***

they mean installed dot to dot - you can check out exactly what they are referring to in the cam install guide on ls1howto.com - there's obvious differences between the cars on the site and yours but the internal engine stuff is the same
