Whining Noise After Cam Change

Sensor install labor? Dude I won't lie, it takes about 10-15 minutes to install them, you just run an OBD2 and see if they even need to be replaced, otherwise you're just going down the rabbit hole guessing. I would take it to a different guy, I'd be pissed if someone charged me that much for that.

Talk to Tooley about it.
Comp changed the engineering behind these cams in 2015. You shouldn't be having the issues.
And sometimes, it's worth it to just pay someone else to clean up the car. I've chased my tail a few times and would rather just pay a shop sometimes to do. But the O2s are not a huge issue once you knew they were a problem.
I don't know Adam, but his facebook page looks like he does a lot of metal fab work. I may have to give him a call. He uses David's Machine shop in Mobile. And that's a good shop.

I wanted to add to this thread to make people aware that the Comp Cams cam whine issue appears to be far from resolved.
In March 2017 I purchased a brand new FTI Streetsweeper HT cam directly from FTI which is ground on Comp Cams lobes. I received the cam roughly 3 weeks after I purchased it which tells me that the cam was more than likely made to order from Comp in the March-April 2017 timeframe. I finally got around to installing the cam last weekend and I unfortunately have the very distinct and dreaded cam whine. It sounds 100% identical to the videos of verified cam whine posted in this thread and others. I am experiencing the whine with both belts disconnected thus removing the belts and accessories, etc from the equation. The car did not exhibit this whine at all whatsoever prior to the cam change. I was under the assumption that Comp corrected the issue based upon various posts indicating such but that is simply not the case. I am absolutely livid as cam swaps on a C5 are a real PITA and the whine is very noticeable and annoying. I will be contacting FTI and Comp Cams this week and I will demand that this be made right. Here's your warning, I'd personally avoid a Comp cam like the plague. It's a shame as I've had such great luck with their cams in the past.

Comp is just not getting it lately; cam whine, bad trunnion kits, and further back, bad valve springs... QC is lacking...

I’ll agree: CamMotion is the way to go. When my comp grind whined, Comp pretty much told me to contact the vendor I used. My vendor was willing to help: but couldn’t guarantee me much.
Cam Motion’s team helped me out when I was in the bind. It didn’t save me the extra labor and time, but at least they went the extra mile when they didn’t even need to.
If they help non-customers like that, I can’t imagine how well they treat their actual customers! If there’s another cam swap, I’m buying the CamMotion grind!
