4 short, 6 long bolts for main caps? where?

4 short, 6 long bolts for main caps? where? i've got a 6.0 block. i'm wondering where the 4 short bolts go and where the 6 long bolts go threw the side of the block into the mains? i measured and they all seem to be the same depth. is there a reason there are 4 short and 6 long? also i know to use teflon sealant on them. thanks
