Default TR TRak

I haven't really heard alot about it, and the search didn't bring up anything either. It looks like it would be a good dd and track cam but does anyone have this cam or is their a TR guy i can talk to?

I've run this cam as a DD in my TA. It is bigger than the cam specs make it seem because the ramps past .050" are very aggressive. Even though it specs out at 231/234, it behaves more like a 236/234 XE-R cam. This is because it uses Comp's LSK lobes on the intake and XE-R lobes on the exhaust. I've made good power with this cam with both AFR 205 heads and AFR 225 heads. Don't know if it would benefit a stock head as much as a ported head, but it should work fine nontheless. I was hopeing for around 400wrhp, i know it is very streetable, which is why i am trying to find out a good bit about it. I was orignaly looking at the MS3 but the power band is alittle to high for me. I know i need double springs for it but what about pushrods. Since no one has the cam on stock head do you think it will take alot away from it. If you guys are making 470 at the wheels with this cam and heads i think i should beable to meet my goals.

400rwhp is within your reach with the right supporting bolt-on parts and a good tune.

But think about how similar your setup is with mine: Same heads, same cam, similar exhaust, etc. The 60-70 rwhp difference shows how an M6 puts power to the ground differently than an unlocked A4. Basically, you are putting down 400 rwhp for the entire 1/4 mile. I don't exceed 400 rwhp until my rpm climbs above 5000 rpm. Your Fuddle 3800 gobbles up a bunch of ponies as does the 4L60 E itself. Lock up the converter and you'd probably gain 30 rwhp...maybe 40.
