Maybe he can explain the exact details as to why this head is taking so long to produce...

Back to the subject. I will be returning from deployment from Afghanistan in the middle of Feb with a fat pocket and I'm really interested in these heads. I think that they would really complement the car with a nice cam to go with it.

You guys should have a first 250 ls1tech guys get a nice discount!!! I'll even slap a patriot sticker on my car, and I don't do stickers.

I had the cash too and waited on these heads way back. I waited for about 3 months. Then said ta hell with it and bought PRC's instead. Stage 2.5 LS6's. I teamed them up with a TRAK cam and made 470 at the wheels! with 455rwtq! Best part: The heads with dual spring kit good for .660 lift, titanium retainers, 230 intake runner...etc + chromoly pushrods + cometics .040 gaskets, all shipped to my door was about $1550. From Texas Speed. Jason is great, these heads are great and I am glad I went with proven heads rather than wait for something new and unproven. AFR's of course are nice heads too, but I could not justify the $700 more not including gaskets, pushrods, for just 5-7 more rwhp that you can get from either a ported fast intake for a lot less if you have that intake and or an electic water pump..more or less. Just my .02
