LS-1 engine "trade-in" value (if any)?

LS-1 engine "trade-in" value (if any)? Assume, for the purposes of this question, that we're talking about an 01-02 LS-1 F-body with around 10k miles or less, all stock, perfect condition. Assume I have one of our sponsor shops swap in a complete crate engine, like maybe an LS7 when they become available. I don't want to fool with storing or selling the leftover engine myself. Any idea how much a shop would be likely to give for the engine, if anything?
Now what about if the engine had some substantial miles, like 30-50k, but otherwise ran well?

i just say you put it in the FS section or on ebay, there are tons of people looking for LS1's to swap in their hybids. If you have a 01-02 with 10k on it, it will go pretty quick.
