Default Lifter Question?

Just wondering how many guys run stock lifters with there aftermarket cams. How much duration/lobe lift and spring pressure will the stock lifters handle, and how many miles on a stock lifter would you give it before replacing it. Thanks

Many Big Block marine engines use these same OEM GM lifters with 200#/600# springs. The stockers should be able to handle quite a bit.

I am switching to Morel's on my head change coming up in a few weeks. there may be some oiling issues with the stockers when they set lower in the bore due to the smaller base circle on aftermarket cams. I am not taking the risk.
