are ls7 lifters a direct swap into ls1's?

I may be 100 percent wrong. from what I understand, Just the heads are differnt and the intake? But I may get jacked up by the next fella. SEMPER FI.. Get on the winning team. Join the USAF

HAHA.. Thats always a good spirted joke.. yet most people say, oh im first in.. Well sorta.. See I drop bombs.. And make sure that the jets who fly also can drop them.. So were first, just 40,000ft up. in the sky.. LOL

take the 2 part numbers and cross reference them. they might come up as interchangable in the gm database.

The ls1 and ls7 use the exact same lifters. Same part number.

i will tell you this. in the new 06 GM perfromance parts book. it lists lifters for the LS7. they sell for 95bucks. says they were redesigned for use on LS7

a buddy of mine saw them in a catalog (i think scogg dickey) for under a hundred bucks and it said something about being able to be used in ls1's.
i need new lifters and the price is definatly right but was hoping if anyone here could confirm compatability between the two motors.
