Default TRAK cam installed.

Wow. I had to flycut my pistons to make er fit but I think it will be worth it.
Car idles with my old modified Predator tune but is waaaaay lean (13.8) and needs way more timing (25 degs). Sounds bad as hell already.

Put TRak in Saturday, stock heads here, damn things a monster, shakes the **** out of the car. Kinda half tuned right now, but there is not traction in 2nd, and I love the sound!

Cool

Mine was ground at 232.5/235.5 Duration, .648/.601 Lift 112 lsa
I pulled a TR224/224 .558/.558 112 lsa and I ran 11.9's with that one.
This TRAK has a whole new sound. I mean like big block sounds.

I love my 236/236.... but damn .640 lift!!! Holy ****. No wonder you had to flycut especially with milled heads. That's way too close for comfort for me. You'd better have the best valve springs known to man with that lift, rpm, and clearance. Wow.

Man, thats the truth. I went with Thunders recommendation of 921 springs.
They cost more but should be worth it. I can't wait to get er tuned and at the track. I might try a set of slicks this year too. That should be real good on the 10 bolt. hee hee

Yeah your ten bolt might be giving out if you run slicks this year. I think you might be geting the car tunned sooner than you think

With your help Mark and Jeff's I'm sure we'll make some great numbers both on and off the track.

I got to race a procharged SS last night, i think he is at 430/415 on 5lb's of boost. He got the initial jump, but after that, we were dead even. Still got a lot of tuning on it to do too, I may have just been lucky though.

How big of a power difference is there between the TRak and TRex? I had been considering the TRex simply because you can't get any more aggressive on a stock motor. Is the TRak at all similar to the MS3?

Soundclip anyone?

Anybody know if these will fit with stock heads? What heads definitely fit without flycutting? I'm looking at PRC CNC Ported Heads... I think this cam would work since they are supposed to good for low P2VC

he makes 445/415, but with you gears since he is on stock gears, i dont see a problem in you hanging in well
